Afternoon Stroll
Watercolor and gouache, 2007 11"x24" (image size 6"x18") $225.00 This is actually a place on Maryland's western shore, but I don't have a Maryland category! At any rate what attracted me to the scene was the reflections, so I decided on this approach. The reflection was painted "wet-into-wet," with the paper at a fairly steep angle to make sure the colors would run. Gouache ("opaque watercolor") was used to create the bits of stuff floating on the water and a little of the texture on the shore. | |
