City Square in the Rain
Watercolor, 2008 14"x18" SOLD Another view from the Center for the Arts (City Square is the restaurant across the street). It wasn't actually raining when I started painting this; rather, I chose to paint the scene using the "drip" technique, and the result suggested rain to me. So I put an orange slicker on the lady in the foreground and kept dripping. |
