Rippon Lodge
Oil pastel, 2007 18"x14" (image size 13"x9") $150.00 If I remember correctly, Rippon is the oldest surviving residence in the county. It was finally acquired by county's historic preservation commission, which has done a great job restoring not only the house but the surrounding grounds, thanks in no small part to a host of volunteers. Places like this are a godsend for suburban artists. |
